structure our Compensation and Benefits policies to reward performance

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
GOME places strong emphasis on the continuous development of
our employees and we encourage internal promotion, which are important
to job satisfaction and employee retention.
We design and provide comprehensive training
programs to our employees, which seek to familiarize employees
with GOME’s management philosophy, corporate culture, operational
systems, customer service standard, and up-to-date technical skills.
All new recruits are required to undergo an intensive training
program during the first week of work, while all existing employees
are required to attend on-the-job training regularly. Such training
programs have served not only to broaden our employees’ scope
of knowledge and skills, but also helped them to succeed in their
careers with GOME.
At GOME we encourage mentoring of junior staff
and continuous assessment of our employees. We have devised an
assessment system for our staff and assessment results are used
in salary reviews and promotion decisions. We believe that a comprehensive
assessment system helps enhance the quality of our employees.
